This is pretty much how I'm doing right now.

Hello everyone, Yazawa here to announce that we're doing a joint with The Little Corner for the manga Koutetsu no Hanappashira(which means "Steel Septum", septum being that part of your nose in between your eyes) which is Hiroyuki Nishimori's(creator of Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!, Ocha Nigosu and Cheeky Angel) newest work that is running in Shounen Sunday right now.

Now I know what everybody is saying, "NOT ANOTHER NEW SERIES, YOU FAGS HAVE LIKE ANOTHER GORILLION MORE YOU'RE WORKING ON." All I can say is that yes, you're right, we do have a lot on hiatus/stand by that may or may not ever get worked on again, however rather than just leave those dying, I'm going to pick this up along with The Little Corner in hopes we get new TLs/Redrawers/Cleaners to help us finish up some of the other mangas, like Ocha and Sasuga no Sarutobi. Someone told me that it's ok if you don't finish something, that at least you tried and it could spark interest in other people wanting to finish it for you, so even if we don't finish all the manga we've started, there's hope other people will.

On top of that, I am offering you guys to be able to give us another manga of your choosing to Scanlate, however it must meet these conditions:

1. It is a 4-Koma manga.
2. It cannot be Yaoi, but Yuri is alright, but not mandatory.
3. It has to have ended, no ongoing series please.
4. YOU must be able to provide raws to me for it.
5. Can't already be worked on by other groups.

BONUS BUT NOT NEEDED: It's a 4-Koma about Delinquents OR a 4-Koma about Dinosaurs/Cavemen

If we end up getting more than 1 manga that meets the criteria by next Wednesday or so, we'll debate which we'll work on or something along those lines.

Yes, we're still here, just dealing with our real lives.

Hey guys, I know a lot of you are wondering what exactly is going on, but have no worries, we are still alive. As you have noticed, our releases have been kind of everywhere as of late, and I apologize for that. Most of us are dealing with the incoming holiday season, school finals and finding jobs and such. So for now things, may be rocky, with releases happening whenever we finish something. So for now, just be patient, we'll be back when we can.

Hey guys, all we have for you this week is:

Now then, we have a bit of news which are both good and bad.

Let's start with the good. The good news is, we got a new person to work on kaiji, so we will be starting up on that again. We are also going to start up on Genki and aim to finish the whole series as soon as possible. We have also picked up Dororon Enma-chan and have found a new guy to help finish translating Dororon Enma-kun. So we plan to work on those two and release both the completed mangas by Halloween.

The bad news is, we're dropping Violence Jack. I got some tips from some people that apparently Offtopia/Gantz Waiting Room are planning to work on the series and release a volume every few weeks. I tried to contact them via the offtopia forums, but basically, they don't want to joint. So, rather than me compete with a large group like Offtopia/GWR who have a bunch of members in their group, while in my group it's only me doing most of the editing in Jack, we're dropping Violence Jack. I personally am not a big fan of Offtopia/GWR, but hopefully they will do a good job with Violence Jack.

Once we finish up the Gorgeous Irene one shots, I am happy to say we'll finally move onto Gegege No Kitarou! Moving on, a lot of you have been asking and begging for Violence Jack, and well, we've decided to start up on it again from where we left off! So be looking forward to that.

Also, major shout outs to the entire fighting game community for an amazing EVO this year. Good job to Latif for representing both AZ and the USA and managing to get second and knocking out Tokido, Poongko and Daigo "the Beast" Umehara! This however was the best thing to happen at EVO:

That's all we have this week, although I guess I should take the time to say some news:

First off thanks for all the positive (and negative) responses we got for JoJolion. It was enough to get us plenty of new people to help us with it that we have decided to do it monthly from now on. We know we made some mistakes with the dialogue, but we hope to improve on those. On top of that we will also be doing tankoubon versions for you guys who love HQ releases.

We are also going to continue with Barihaken this summer as we attempt to finish the series. I also got a new translator for Ocha Nigosu who will continue at the rate of 1-2 chapters a week. I assume we'll finish 2 volumes of Ocha this summer, hopefully. Also, Cool Shock BT will continue and will be finished by the end of June most likely and then I'll move on to Gorgeous Irene, which includes the first ever One Shot Araki did which is what he used to base Steel Ball Run on. (From what I've heard.)

For those of you wondering what happened to Violence Jack and Gekiman, here's the dealio. Gekiman was something I wanted to do quickly and my translator thought it looked awesome from the cover. Sadly we judged the manga from the cover... the text was vague and boring and it was a strain to translate. Add that with a typesetter my translator couldn't agree with and you have a train wreck. So for now we are putting Gekiman on hold. Violence Jack is also going on hold. Why? Because the main editor for it has disappeared and I haven't been able to find a replacement yet. However, instead of Jack, my translator is going to be doing all of Ganbare Genki.

Lastly, we are beginning on our fourth volume of the Academy of Ninjas here soon. I'd just like to thank my translator Grimm for doing such a great job on it. Very soon, I know we will probably finish it. After the Academy of Ninjas is done, I have decided to have Grimm work on Gegege no Kitarou, so I hope you guys look forward to it.

I usually don't like doing ongoing series but I've gotten a lot of emails and I've managed to get people who can hook me up with everything I'll need to work on it. So to put it simply:

Project Bite Me! Scanlations WILL work on Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 8: Jojolion.

Also, may I say, this anime season is turning up to be pretty good. Kaiji is amazing, but time will tell. And Dororon's anime, although a bit different from the manga (why is the girl the protagonist...) is turning out fabulously HOTBLOODED. That opening, those sequences, Grandma with spinning tits. It all screams Nagai and I love it.

Regarding the news, we are doing a couple of joints.

First off, we're teaming up with The Skaro Hunting Society to bring you Choujin Locke. A manga classic all the way from the late 1960's. If you've never heard of the Skaro Hunting Society, then check them out. They mostly sub old animes and live action shows, so they're pretty awesome.

Also with Dynamic Pro Scanlations, we're jointing to bring you Gekiman. The manga is by Go Nagai and basically, it's about how he's been doing manga for so long. It's like Bakuman, except it's based on a real story.

Also, you guys need to check out Ardneh. They just finished Hareluya II Boy and are about to finish Ushio to Tora, both pretty amazing mangas. After Ushio to Tora, they plan to work on Karakuri Circus, so for you guys who were asking us to work on it, check them out.

Lastly, we need more typesetters and redrawers! If you are experienced at either of these, please comment or send a message. I think that's about it for this week, if you guys want to comment or ask questions, do so in the comments section.

Also, I'm going to clarify some things you guys(the readers) may be wondering about:

Question: Wait, you guys are releasing stuff as soon as it's done now!?

Answer: Only Kaiji. The rest will continue to be on sundays until I feel like changing it up but for now only Kaiji will be released as soon as it's finished. Also for those wondering, it was not my idea to work on Kaiji. That was the rest of the group's decision and I have no objections to it.

Question: What happened to Chameleon, Violence Jack and The Academy of Ninjas?

Answer: Our typesetter/editor for those three series (Audrey) had to take care of some things IRL. She's back now though and should be getting back on those ASAP.

Question: What happened to Shounan Junai Gumi?

Answer: Well, it seems the translator for that series (S Jump Forum) lost interest/is doing other stuff. I myself have been debating to use the tokyopop translations on the japanese raws but I'm not quite sure yet. So for now it's on hold.

Question: What about Barihaken?

Answer: We basically do have a translator for it, but Barihaken is demanding A LOT of redraws. Chapter 9 had 60+ Pixtext alone. So until we get someone who is willing to do that much, it's on hold.

Question: Can you work on X manga?

Answer: To put it simply, no. Probably not at this moment. We will consider it, but I doubt we'll get to it any time soon.

Question: I don't care about anything, but where is Hanza Sky already!?

Answer: Hanza Sky is getting done, stop asking. We already have scripts up to chapter 19 and more will soon come. Right now the cleaner is cleaning chapter 14 and we'll have it for the typesetter soon enough. If you want the april fools version of 14, by all means download it from the mediafire.

Blazing Transfer Student

Noboru Takizawa is your normal student. However upon being transferred to a new school the first thing that happens is that he steps on a land mine! From that point on, he fights against the hall monitor and gets past him. In the turmoil of it all, he meets the lovely Yukari and befriends her. Later on, he meets Ibuki, who later becomes his rival to win Yukari's heart. It turns out that the school Takizawa has transferred to is trying to tyrannize the students of the class he's entered. It is now his job to try and help them out and keep their class! He does this by trying his best in showing the class has potential in a sports festival at the school. Meanwhile in the background, Takizawa's father is setting the teacher's straight and making them stop their evil ways. The basic plot is that Takizawa transfers to schools where the teachers have messed up methods to deal with students, or schools where there are obscure and crazy rules. His father accompanies him and pretends to be one of the teachers to try and sneak up on the evil or corrupt teachers and end their tyranny.

 Osomatsu-kun is a manga series by Fujio
 Akatsuka which ran in Shōnen Sunday from
 1962 to 1969. It has been adapted into two
 different anime series of the same name, the
 first in 1966, produced by Studio Zero, and
 the second in 1988, produced by Pierrot and
 aired across Japan on Fuji Television and the
 anime satellite television network, Animax.

 This series helped establish Akatsuka's
 reputation as a gag comic artist, long before his other popular manga,
 Tensai Bakabon. Osomatsu-kun has appeared in numerous special
 issues of Shōnen Sunday. Akatsuka has also included several manga
 adaptations of routines from Charlie Chaplin movies in the series.

Won the 10th Shogakukan Manga Award in 1964.

Concerning Ashita no Joe...

So here it is, Ashita no Joe Chapter 64, the final chapter of Volume 6. Not gonna lie, I loved working on Joe with Hox, but I must sadly hand off the torch to Hox. I have learned of how Joints work and that my group still has a bit to go before we can handle them correctly. Maybe we'll pick it up again around volume 15. Also, the translations would be useless if we didn't have anyone who could typeset it. We currently have only 6 typesetters, but 4 of those typesetters usually are very busy, leaving the work to the other 2 and myself (and I'm really MEH at typesetting). So if any of you are typesetters and have some spare time, it'd be great if you could help us out, even if it's just for one chapter.

For cleaning, we have a few mangas where we need to use magazine raws for, and not gonna lie, they are atrocious. So, we need any cleaners who can clean magazine raws so that they could (possibly) look like they came from a tankobon.

Alright, as for the Coloring and Artist position. As you have noticed, this month's Alyosha Cover was colored by Elagabalus. We would LOVE to have some more people that could color like this (or as best as they can). It makes mangas look a bit more exciting, so if you're interested, join us. The artist position is mostly for someone who is willing to draw for us, we have a lot of things we want drawn, for example a Logo (Red Hawk has one, why not us?), and a banner for the blog. Just some things that'll make our site, the credit pages and possibly even the manga themselves more fun to read.
