ReplyDeleteI know how this comes off, as a noncontributor, but.. is kaiji still being worked on? Its one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThere's two chapters I've translated that haven't been released. The cleaner for it never responds and the typesetter is MIA. Blame Yazawa for not fixing this yet.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I have a small question for you guys (please don't think of this as flaming or anything negative). How come you guys are focusing on so many different series? It really takes up a lot more time, and has some of your readers wait a lot longer for scanlations. Personally, I've still been waiting for Kaiji since the day you released the most recent chapter in July. I don't obviously want to rush you guys to do it as you guys are doing us all a favor, however, it could be of your best interest to please consider dropping some series so that you can focus on scanlating more of your more popular scanlations. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe do what we want. It's been said dozens of times but we don't do this for the fans. Sucks to be you, but that's how we do things.
ReplyDeleteWe choose so many series because our group has a wide array of personal tastes. Obviously, it would be more efficient to focus on two or three series, but we have such a diverse group with different interests so we cater to ourselves instead of bickering about it. It's part of the reason we haven't ragequit or murdered each other yet.
On a side note, we're having staffing complications adjusting to the back to school wave. Plus with a few people disappearing and/or being nonresponsive nothing's really helping.
readers who enjoy kaiji would have been MUCH better off if your group did not pick up kaiji at all. the other group called "we cant decide" worked tirelessly to scanlate 2 chapters a week until u guys got involved. now kaiji's progression has slowed down to a crawl.

You do realize we don't care about your opinion, right? We're working on the mangas because we want to, not to say our scans are better or any of that nonsense. If you don't like our scans, ok, no one is forcing you to read them. You can just not come here and download the manga if you feel that strongly about it since again, no one is forcing you to come here.

ReplyDeleteThey should be in the mediafire folder, which you can access on the right. If something's missing from there tell us and we'll reupload it.
