Howdy, folks. Stealth Momo here with some information concerning Crimsons. Don't worry, we aren't dropping it or anything. (Apparently, I am blabbering about stuff now too)
In the most recent installment, Chapter 17, it was unveiled that Crimsons will be ending with its 20th chapter. While it had a short run, Crimsons has been one of the most bizarre and entertaining series I've had the pleasure of working on. Despite being sad to see it go, I think now's probably close to the perfect time to wrap things up considering the direction the story's been going.
I suppose this post is mainly a shout-out to Kanno Takanori for doing a damn fine job on a manga with a somewhat unappealing premise. Personally, I'm drawn to the peculiar and weird manga series. Somehow, while it would inevitably happen, I doubt anybody would have picked up this series without the news post concerning it (not exactly worksafe) on Sankaku Complex. The moment I read the post, I knew Crimsons absolutely had to be my next project. In typical Sankaku fashion, it blew the existence of the manga way out of proportion, but it was what caused me to first take interest. Thanks, Sankaku staff.
We at Project Bite Me! hope Mr. Kanno moves on to bigger and better things. Apparently, Crimsons was fairly popular in Japan; hopefully that motivates him to continue pioneering with weirdass manga. Here's hoping Crimsons has a great ending!
